A Word of Acknowledgement
The Metro Children’s Water festival is possible because of the dedication of the Festival Planning Committee. Committee members recruit all of the presenters and other volunteers, select and coordinate with all attending schools, organize and coordinate many festival activities and related schedules, coordinate preparing and serving lunch, arrange for rental of the fairgrounds and related facilities, provide class photos for participating schools and make sure that the quality of the festival is maintained from year to year. Their devotion to the education of children is the backbone of this festival.
The Metro Conservation Districts (MCD) recognizes and extends their thanks to the following planning committee members:
Madeline Seveland & Andy Edcumbe, Carver County Water Management Organization
Bart Biernat, Anoka County Environmental Services;
Jessica Collin-Pilarski, Washington County Public Health and Environment;
